Crate training if another great way and increase your outings. Consistency is key! Use Puppy Pads.. I have two Chi's. and that is what I do. Your will have success with it. Put a little poo on the pad, put some urine on it too, take it to the pad very often... it will eventually get it. You never want to scold your dog for going in the house. It'll just confuse the dog. Instead, take the dog out every two hours at first. After it goes potty, praise the dog and give it a treat.
