She’s afraid of outside, I live on a very noisy and busy street, and she is startled by the sound of the plastic side of the pad. I can crate her all day long, taking her out every 2 hours, but that seems cruel, and when I have her out and try to give her my undivided attention, she manages to sneek away and potty in a split second! I don’t mind the clean up, but I think I’d like her to be trained.
Oh, dogs are like Buddhists, they live in the present, so past boo boos don’t exist for them. I never thought of tethering her indoors, excellent idea. And I’m trying the pad training because I live in an apartment, and the third floor, so I can’t always get her to ground level in time, and well, I’m a bit lazy when it comes to the stairs 12 times a day.
