Chihuahua pup X where in Kent UK to buy ?

Without going into debt?
I am looking for a puppy for a very sick child. She really really wants a Chihuahua but, OMG, they are so expensive! One quote was for £2000

I am in Kent , UK….
Any clues for me? Please?
Yorkshire Terriers are acceptable too…. (anything small and cute for this child)
