How can I train my chihuahua to use a litterbox?
Any tips on how to get him to use a litterbox? I live in an apartment, so hes an indoor dog.
HELLO, im not a lazy owner! I love my dog and would never do anything to mistreat him. I work all day, and got o school at nights. Taking him for a walk is hard to to all day. I walk him twice a day. But of course, dogs poop more than that.

I litterbox trained my little chi. If you go to http://www.petsmart.com and search for the purina litterpan. Get the minature sized one and the pee pads will fit perfectly inside. Trust me it is a life saver for when I am at work and I cant take her outside.
i live in an apartment, and mine goes outside. get off your butt and walk him. you should have gotten a cat. millions of dogs live in apartments, and their owners walk them. why can’t you take him out?
Peepads put into a box are easier. They clean up easier and never leak if they are laid in a box.
the same way you would house break him. put him in it after every nap and meal and play time. if he has an accident put it and him in the box. you can also buy scented puppy pads to encourage him to use the box and aid in clean up
why is it so difficult for you to take the dog outside. my dog is an indoor dog too and he still goes outside to go. the dog needs to be walked anyways. so take the damn thing outside. there is a difference between a dog and a cat and the litterbox thing is just one of them. if you wanted a litterbox using animal you should have gotten a cat
