How do I train two (chihuahua) puppies at once?

Is it best to crate-train (litterbox) them together in the same crate/same litterbox? At the same time? One at a time? (take them out one at a time to their potty-place, or at the same time?)
I know a crate should be "large enough for a dog to stand up and turn around in", but what about with TWO chihuahuas? "Twice" as large? Slightly larger? Size recommendations?
