I have just adopted a Chihuahua and she was fed off the table most of the time. I want to feed her regular dog food and no table scraps but after trying countless of different brands of food wet and dry, she still refuses to eat. When she does eat its after her tummy starts to growl..she drinks plenty of water but even though she was very overweight when i got her it concerns me that she is not eating and she is noticablely losing weight..she will eat things like meatloaf and sausage off my plate and even pasta but when it comes to dog treats and dog food she just sniffs it and turns her head.what can i do to make her want the dog food..i don’t like feeding her table food leftovers? She is 7 years old.
