Jones Chihuahuas’ web site is www.joneschihuahuas.com This is a video of Chili’s birth. Ruby had a long and hard labour. Both her two pups came breach. Both got cought in the birth connel because of their size. If I had left Ruby to have her pups alone she would have died along with her pups. No one has the right to breed, it must be earned with years of research and hands on with other breeders help. I have talked to so many people that felt they had the right to breed their Chihuahua and they lost the dog and the pups, because they didn’t know what to do and did not want to pay for a C-section on their dog (they told me they couldn’t afford it). Next year when I breed Ruby I will be using a different male. If she has the same problem, she will be spayed and pet homed. Her well being is my first consern. Both pups are fine and very healthy. Ruby is doing find now as well.
