Just bought a chihuahua pup and found out im also expecting.?

My boyfriend and i just bought our first home so we decided we would like a puppy. So we went out and bought a chihuahua pup. A week later i find out im having a baby, and now we are worried that the pup will be jelous when the baby is born? My friend was saying how they can go psycho jelous when a baby is born. Any tips or advice?
Gizmo is 3 months old right now, and baby isnt due untilll mid-october
